My Son Survived His Junior Year of High School Giveaway and Ebook Sale

Okay, folks, it's that time!  Time for a Door to Canellin Kindle Edition giveaway!

For the first 25 people who post a comment on THIS blog post (the one you're reading), and include in the comment their e-mail address, I will gift directly to you a copy of The Door to Canellin Kindle edition through Amazon's gifting system.  Your gift will arrive sometime within 24-48 hours.

Simple as that, folks!  No review required, and no strings attached!  Make sure you leave your e-mail address in your comment, and make sure you double-check it for accuracy!

And as a special bonus, for ONE of the lucky 25, I will once again be gifting a paperback copy of The Door to Canellin!  I will put all the e-mail addresses in a hat, and draw one out as the lucky recipient of a paperback!

And, as another bonus, The Door to Canellin Kindle Edition will be on sale from (whenever Amazon lower's the price) through May 31st!  $.99, $2 off the regular price!

Time's wasting, get to commenting!

  4. Margaret,
I can offer you three options that might be of interest. First, I'm also giving away a free paperback every month through Goodreads for the next few month. There's a widget at the top of the blog, you can click there to enter that one. And as a second option, Kindle books can be read on PC with the Kindle for PC app, or even on Android and Iphone smartphones with the free app for those as well! Or, you can designate a different e-mail address, if you know someone who has a Kindle and would like to share... and you'd still be entered to win the paperback for yourself!

  5. Seems to be some odd goings on over at Amazon today, and for some reason I'm not attracting as much attention as I'd like for this giveaway. I will keep the giveaway going until 25 copies are given away, or May 31st. After that I'll randomly pick a winner for the paperback from whoever has received a freebie.

  6. With the inability to post promos in the Amazon forums (except for the Meet Our Authors forum), I imagine it would be even harder.

Have you told anyone over at Kindle Boards yet?

  7. I announced it in the Kindleboards forum, however, they're equally restrictive... I was told I could not post announcements having anything to do with my own work, except in a single thread that I created in the Writer's Cafe. I think it's the new Amazon restrictions that are keeping word from getting out. Most of the time, people jump at the chance for a free book when they get the chance! :)

  8. There are inventive ways of getting around the KindleBoards restrictions. The most effective way that comes to mind is to add something about it in your sig.

  9. I'm glad your son survived Junior year. Hopefully he can get through Senior year without getting Senioritis and blowing his whole High School.

  15. Ryne Billings posted about this on Kindleboards so I came over to get a copy if they are still available. reese@library4science.com. If it's not DRMd you could just email it to me, I can transfer via the USB. The post on Kindleboards was about books that seem to have everything to be a big success but which just haven't taken off yet. Everyone said what a fantastic cover you have. I agree, outstanding.

  17. Thank you guys for the flurry of activity today on my giveaway! And thank you, Ryne, for helping to spread the word! All five of the requests I've received today should be fulfilled, and you are all entered into a drawing for a free paperback copy of The Door to Canellin. This giveaway ends at midnight tonight, if there are any more takers, speak now! There are still a few copies left!

  18. Library4Science, thanks for the compliments on my cover. It does get a lot of notice! I was lucky enough to find a talented (and as undiscovered as I am lol) cover artist, who has signed on to do two more for me as well.

  19. It's not a problem. I average about 30 posts per day on Kindle Boards, so someone's bound to listen to my suggestions occasionally.

I'm just glad that you were able to get a few more out of the way.

  20. I received my gift notice, thanks a lot. I will download it tomorrow. I was just out mulching my garden in the 90 deg. heat. Time for a cold one and relaxing in the AC.
